What shines and what doesn't
Placement and view are superb. Staff is nice and helpful. Restaurant has amazing view and changes menu every week!
A fair few power outages throughout my stay. It was frustrating that a number of items ordered from the menu were not available-the wine list could also use major improvements.

The location was in a marvellous and gorgeous spot for our xmas. The hotel was in a recreational area, just off local and international restaurants, a more real Zanzibar than that, and water sport activities, such as snorkling from a Dhow, Kite Surfing...

The 24-hour front desk staff spoke multiple languages.
In my wife's opinion, more shaded areas would really help families.

I appreciated the unique location in the great area. Everybody was kind and perfect. I stayed here before, always beautiful and quiet rooms on verandah.

The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Curries are highly recommended. The fresh fish was always fried through and was dry, which we found a pity considering the freshness and quality of the fish.

Lunch and dinner must be eaten elsewhere. The room was great! With view of the pool and the sea. Terrace was also great! Lies very far away from many but nevertheless very good for a quiet holiday!
The hotel was good, but the beach leaves a lot to be desired, but that's because a lot of algae washed up. You shouldn't be surprised if the beach is not spotless. Sometimes the algae also have a strong smell.

Nice location. Friendly staff.
No lunch or dinner at the hotel, which was a bit of a hassle. Indeed a lot of food at the breakfast buffet, but tw plundered or stale when you arrived a little later ... few couches, which again leads to the famous distribution of towels from the first cockcrow :(

The stunning ocean views from my room were a highlight. Though the service wasn't always the quickest, especially at busy times, the staff remained friendly. Exploring the local area added great memories, but the noise from nearby events made it tough to relax at times.

Water pressure and temperature of the shower leaves a lot to be desired, local rusticity may not suit everyone, but adds to the charm

Breakfast was ok but unfortunately only instant coffee,. the Americano we ordered daily costs extra. . Bed was ok, maybe too high for some people, I liked it
Failure of the air conditioning system, but was always immediately tried to repair. Electricity and water had also failed once. . Is just Africa

Staying in a Superior Double Room with Sea View was a delight! The sweeping views of the ocean were fine, especially at sunrise. The daily breakfast was good, with fresh options like fruit and crepes that satisfied our appetite. The staff was eager to help arrange local activities, we.
